People Solutions are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates to join our well-established client based in Livingston, supporting a busy furniture delivery company. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and physically fit individuals looking for full-time, ongoing work.
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Start time from 6:00am
44 hours per week
Rates of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Drivers Mate, your duties will include:
Assisting the driver with furniture deliveries
Heavy lifting of sofas, flooring and household furniture
Manual handling of large and bulky items
Supporting safe loading and unloading of vehicles
Delivering items to customer's homes in a professional manner
Ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
Essential Skills:
The skills required as a Drivers Mate are:
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Reliable and punctual
Good communication skills
Positive, customer-focused attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in furniture delivery, warehouse, removals or similar heavy manual roles is advantageous.
Training:
Ongoing support and training provided.
