Prestwick Cricket Club are looking for an enthusiastic, personable, innovative and experienced individual to take over the day to day runnings of our clubhouse bar.
This is a part time postion with hours approximately 24 per week (see opening hours)
Our Cricket Club is open all year round, every weekend, with the cricket playing season lasting from April to September. While working here you'd make positive and lasting relationships with each of our members, players and patrons.
We would like to grow and make more use of our function room so the opportunity is available for someone to bring their own ideas to the role, perhaps you enjoy organising events? Either way your ideas will be welcome here.
* Managing/ overseeing and scheduling a small group of casual staff to ensure the bar is adequately staffed
* Any relevant staff recruitment, supervision and/or training
* Opening or closing duties subject to opening hours (opening hours are open to change depending on season/events etc.) ** As key holder.
* Cash handling, preparing and providing necessary weekly cash reports.
* Serving our customers and members with a smile
* Liaising with our Social Convener on function hire, bookings and events organisation
* Ordering, organising and ensuring stock levels are adequate on a weekly basis, (Tennents) and/or Cash and Carry if required.
* Ensuring quality beer pouring- weekly line cleaning etc.
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentability in the clubhouse
* Assist our committee, patrons, players and members on the organisation of any club events

Every second Tuesday
* 2 year experience in hospitality
* 1 year experience at management/supervisory level
* Personal licence holder
* Driving licence holder and/or means of travel to work
* Flexibility to work in and around our opening hours- weekends
* Hourly percentage share of all tips
* Ample on site parking
Trial period will be discussed at interview.
