Library Services Manager, Full-time, Permanent

What youll do
* Lead, develop, and deliver library services across Napier campuses so they are modern, agile, accessible, and responsive to students, researchers, and staff.
* Manage the full spectrum of operational responsibilities: staff leadership, budgets, resource planning, and performance management.
* Drive strategic growth, digital transformation, and innovation: revamping systems, developing new service models, enhancing digital access, and aligning library services with the Universitys broader mission.
* Champion inclusion, equity, and excellenceensuring that library spaces, collections, and services reflect and support diverse user needs.
Who you are
* An experienced manager with a proven track record in library or information services (or equivalent environments) who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
* Digitally literate and inquisitive: comfortable driving change, using data to improve services, and adopting new technologies.
* A strong communicator and collaborator: you engage with people at all levels, build partnerships, and inspire teams.
* Committed to equity, inclusion, and access: you understand the importance of user experience and work to ensure the library serves all.
* Ideally with a relevant academic qualification (or equivalent experience) and a deep understanding of how modern libraries and information services contribute to teaching, learning and research.

* Salary: Grade 6 46,049 £58,225 per annum
