Electronics Production Operative - (Conformal Coating)

Our client, a global leader in their field is seeking an experienced Electronics Operative to join their established manufacturing team in Chippenham.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-quality, safety-critical environment supporting the production and refurbishment of electronic systems used in modern rail infrastructure.
The Role
As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, and conformal coating of electronic assemblies. The position requires strong technical capability, excellent attention to detail, and experience working to strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assembly electronic assemblies in line with engineering drawings and work instructions
* Application of conformal coatings to PCB assemblies using approved materials and processes
* Preparation of assemblies prior to coating
* Visual inspection of coated boards to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Functional testing and fault finding to component level
* Completion of production and quality documentation
* Adherence to ESD, safety, and quality procedures
* Supporting continuous improvement within manufacturing processes
Candidate Requirements
Preferred:
* Previous experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
* Experience working with PCB assemblies and electronic components
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
* Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Desirable:
* Hands-on conformal coating experience within an electronics manufacturing environment
* Experience with automated coating systems
