About the role
* Management Grade A
* 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with rotational weekend work
* Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance
* Location: Central and North London
* Responsible for maintaining high standards across retail outlets, working closely with Retail Teams and stakeholders
* Regular travel within the area; occasional travel and overnight stays may be required; a full clean driving license is essential
What you'll do
In collaboration with the Retail Technical Manager and teams, your responsibilities include:
* Promoting food safety culture
* Investigating and resolving customer complaints
* Managing micro sampling and data
* Supporting hygiene and microbiological standards in shops
* Coordinating with pest control and local authorities
* Monitoring non-compliance and incidents
* Contributing to food safety and quality management systems
* Participating in HACCP reviews and maintenance
* Managing KPI data and documentation
* Assisting in training activities
About you
We seek driven individuals with:
* A Degree or HNC in Food Science or related field
* HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications
* 1-2 years' experience in food safety, in retail or production
* Experience in investigations and audits
* Leadership, decision-making, and report-writing skills
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and embrace challenges
* Team-oriented and supportive of an inclusive culture
