Job Description
The Engineering Manager will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for a team of 8 engineers and technicians across this complex facility. This role will form a crucial part of the site leadership team and will be responsible for driving operational excellence and cultural transformation across the department. They will:
3. Drive equipment efficiency to ensure optimum availability
4. Develop, embed and drive PPM schedules using Maximo systems
5. Provide guidance and leadership to the engineering team
6. Be accountable and lead investigations and RCA's ensuring all preventative actions are completed efficiently
7. Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department
8. Collaborate with other department heads to align engineering strategies with business objectives
9. Manage and control departmental expenditure and labour spend within agreed budgets
The Successful Applicant
The successful Engineering Manager will possess a range of the following:
10. Experience within a similar role within the FMCG industry
11. Electrical Engineering background preferred with relevant degree (advantageous)
12. Demonstrable experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement methodology
13. Excellent problem solving skills
14. Passionate and energetic with s real drive to improve performance and culture
15. Strong leadership acumen with the ability to hold people to account
