We have an opportunity available with a leading Children's Home company who have services across the UK and are one of the most reputable in the sector.
On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent specialist training in managing behaviours such as Trauma, Sexual Exploitation and Attachment Disorders as part of a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare. This role offers clear progression pathways from Support Worker into Managerial roles.
This is a role where you will be working with one of the most reputable care providers in the area and will benefit from ongoing training and support to ensure you have everything you need to become successful in the role.
Please note, this role will include working weekends, sleep overs, morning, and evenings so flexibility is required.
Benefits for the Children's Support Worker include:
1. Basic salary £24,000-£25,000 per annum
2. Yearly earnings between £26,000 - £30,000 (including sleep-in rates)

Responsibilities of the Children's Support Worker:
9. Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training given)
10. Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical, and developmental needs.
11. Display yourself as an appropriate role model
12. Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
13. Encourage positive life experiences for the children
14. Strong experience building report
15. Strong experience working in a team environment
16. Ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
17. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
