AsaClass1Driver,youwillbeworkingalongsidethetransportteamtoensurethesafedeliveryofgoodstovariousdepotslocally.
Workinghours: MondaytoFriday,withshifttimesstartingat04:30-06:30ondays,and18:00-19:00starttimesonnights.
Salary: £18.00perhourondays.£21.00perhouronnights.
YourClass 1 Driver responsibilitieswillinclude(butnotlimitedto):
* Completingfullvehiclecheckspriortoleavingtheyard,ensuringanydefectsarereportedimmediately.
* Deliveryofcagedorpalletisedgoodstodepots(somedeliverieswillrequireunloadingusinganelectricpallettruck,howevermostdeliverieswillbeforkedoff).
* Followingmanualhandlingprocedures.
* UseofhandheldPDAscannerdevicestoscangoodson/offthevehicle.
* EnsuringstrictcompliancewithallWorkingTimeDirectivepolicies.
Class 1 DriverExperience&Qualifications:
* MustholdafullUKcategoryC+Edrivinglicence,CPCcardandtachocard.
* Forinsurancepurposes,alldriversmusthaveheldtheirClass1licencefor12monthsorlonger.
* Successfullycompleteadrivingassessmentwhichwillincludeatheorytest,practicaltest,anddrug&alcoholtest.
* Strongcommunication&organisationskills,withtheabilitytopayattentiontodetail.
