Responsibilities
* Provide high quality specialist educational support for KS1/2 children whose needs are related to social and emotional wellbeing.
* Enable children to make demonstrable progress in their social and emotional development and with their learning, building on strengths and resources of the child.
* Develop, nurture and model positive adult and peer relationships in line with GROW's values and expectations.
* Ensure that all safeguarding and child protection matters are dealt with in line with policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
* Communicate with parents/carers to ensure partnership working progresses and regular purposeful reviews take place.
* Work flexibly and creatively.
* Contribute to assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluations.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in learning support/behaviour support or equivalent qualification or experience.
* Proactive contribution to the work of a team supporting children, their families and carers.
* Participation in assessing progress and performance and recommending appropriate strategies to support development.
* Establish rapport and build respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families and carers and other adults.
