The role of
Technology Delivery Manager will include:Lead, manage, monitor, and ensure delivery of agreed operational technology projects and services, driving improvements in reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectivenessOwn end-to-end delivery accountability for business-critical operational initiatives throughout their lifecycle, ensuring effective resource utilisation (including budgets) and achievement of objectivesDevelop, manage, and implement operational plans to drive delivery of technology services and improvements, resolving business issues and supporting operational usersLead multi-disciplinary, matrix teams to deliver change at pace, setting delivery standards, assuring quality, and embedding continuous improvement across ways of workingDefine and shape the roadmap of technology operations initiatives, with a focus on operational readiness and ongoing supportEstablish governance and controls, aligning with Technology Delivery where suitable and ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations (e.g., ITIL, ISO standards)Promote and embed a culture of operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement within the Technology Operations teamContribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectivesSkills and experiences:
Comprehensive experience of managing medium to large scale Technology projectsProven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reportsProven experience of using project planning tools to effectively manage projectsProven experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure deliveryProven experience of working to compliance standards e.g. ITIL and ISOProven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies whilst meeting business and user needsDegree, management qualification or relevant professional qualificationPrince2 Practitioner or other Project Management qualificationWhy work for us?
