The role of Technology Delivery Manager will include:
1. Lead, manage, monitor, and ensure delivery of agreed operational technology projects and services, driving improvements in reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
2. Own end-to-end delivery accountability for business-critical operational initiatives throughout their lifecycle, ensuring effective resource utilisation (including budgets) and achievement of objectives
3. Develop, manage, and implement operational plans to drive delivery of technology services and improvements, resolving business issues and supporting operational users
4. Lead multi-disciplinary, matrix teams to deliver change at pace, setting delivery standards, assuring quality, and embedding continuous improvement across ways of working
5. Define and shape the roadmap of technology operations initiatives, with a focus on operational readiness and ongoing support
6. Establish governance and controls, aligning with Technology Delivery where suitable and ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations (e.g., ITIL, ISO standards)
7. Promote and embed a culture of operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement within the Technology Operations team
8. Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives
Skills and experiences:
9. Comprehensive experience of managing medium to large scale Technology projects
10. Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports
11. Proven experience of using project planning tools to effectively manage projects
12. Proven experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure delivery
13. Proven experience of working to compliance standards e.g. ITIL and ISO
14. Proven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies whilst meeting business and user needs
15. Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
16. Prince2 Practitioner or other Project Management qualification

29. Effective 1st April role salary is £45,736 with an additional policy allowance of £9,133 per annum (rising to £48,157 with an additional policy allowance of £9,616 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
