We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to fill a vacany in a welcoming and supportive primary school in the DH7 area of Durham ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education who is looking for a long term role with the potential of going permanent, if a good fit for the shcool.
The role includes:
Supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage with their learning and development
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative activities
Encouraging children to reach their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment
Helping to create a positive classroom atmosphere and building strong relationships with pupils
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with children in an EYFS or primary school setting (nursery or school-based experience desirable)
Demonstrate a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
Possess good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Hold relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Early Years qualification, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
