Senior Delegated Authority Analyst
London / Hybrid
We are partnered with a specialty Lloyd's syndicate is looking to hire an experienced Senior Delegated Authority Analyst to join their UK Operations team. This is a key role supporting the governance, oversight and growth of a delegated authority portfolio across Coverholders, Delegated Claims Administrators (DCAs) and Product Partners.
Reporting into the Delegated Authority Assurance Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in onboarding new partners, reviewing contracts, and providing ongoing assurance across underwriting and claims arrangements. You’ll also act as a subject matter expert, supporting underwriters and collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
The Role
* Support the onboarding, renewal and oversight of Coverholders, DCAs and Product Partners across UK, EEA and international business
* Complete due diligence and manage Lloyd’s submissions for new and existing delegated authority arrangements
* Conduct technical risk assessments to ensure partners meet regulatory and internal standards
* Perform pre- and post-bind reviews of binders, line slips, master policies and consortia
* Provide technical advice to underwriting and claims teams on delegated authority matters
* Work closely with Compliance, Conduct, Complaints, Operational Resilience and Cyber teams to ensure robust governance
* Support wording reviews and contract negotiations alongside specialist teams
* Monitor regulatory developments and support risk mitigation activity across the portfolio
* Oversee and mentor junior analysts, deputising for the manager when required
* Contribute to internal reporting, change initiatives and systems testing
* Use Lloyd’s systems such as Atlas, DCOM and Insights Hub
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong experience in Delegated Authority underwriting and/or claims, ideally within the Lloyd’s market
* Proven knowledge of Coverholder and DCA onboarding and oversight processes
* Confident providing technical guidance to underwriters and stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
* Motivated, proactive and keen to continue developing within a DA governance role
