Key Account Manager; Indirect Channel

Job Description

The Key Account Manager for our Indirect Channel is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic account plans for high-value clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving long-term growth for our Sleep & Respiratory Care business. The role fosters deep relationships with senior stakeholders and implements complex sales and marketing initiatives, analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities.


Your role:

1. Leads the development and execution of strategic account plans for high-value clients, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving long-term growth for the company. Aligning with the European business and IKA leaders on implementation of strategy
2. Fosters and manages deep, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders within key accounts, positioning the company as a trusted partner and advisor in their business strategies.
3. Applies specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth to a variety of issues and projects within the team, ensuring effective solutions and innovative approaches to complex challenges.
4. Analyzes market trends and comprehensive customer data to identify new business opportunities, creating innovative strategies to capture and grow market share within assigned accounts. Feeding this back to the IKA/ European team to ensure collaboration and alignment
5. Monitors key performance indicators and financial metrics for key accounts, providing regular updates and insights to senior management to inform and guide strategic decisions, ensuring regular updates to sales data in the Customer Relationship Management System in line with Company policies and KPI's.
6. Develops and negotiates comprehensive contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support and enhance both client and company objectives.
7. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex customer issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective problem-solving.
8. Leads the creation and execution of customized sales presentations and proposals, effectively communicating the value proposition and competitive advantages of the company's offerings.
9. Serves as the primary escalation point for key accounts, addressing and managing the resolution of any critical issues promptly while maintaining strong client relationships and trust through proactive communication.
10. Ensures full compliance with Philips' business processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest levels of business integrity and conduct, which safeguards the company's reputation.

You're the right fit if:

11. Minimum 2 years of experience in Account Management working with Indirect Partners/ Distributors
12. Experience within the Healthcare sector ideal
13. Proven Track Record of Sales Delivery against Targets in Medical Devices
