Whilst this is a temporary contract until November 2025, there could be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities available, so it could be the start of a new career at Boots.
Contract: Fixed Term until end 28 November 2025
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays on a rotational basis. You need to be flexible to work between 8.30am and 5pm every day. A rest day will be scheduled during the week where Saturday working is required.
Salary: £24,840
Location: Full time at Nottingham Support Office, Beeston.
About the role
As an administrator within the Recruitment Support Centre, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the end-to-end recruitment journey, enabling our store managers to secure the best talent.
You will work as part of a large team in a fast-paced environment to provide a seamless journey for candidates and hiring managers from application through to their first day in store.
You will be responsible for the administrative tasks that help recruitment to run effectively such as maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems and setting up interviews. You will also be the first point of contact for both candidates and hiring managers, answering their questions and queries by phone and email.
Key responsibilities
* Job Advertisements: You will post job openings to our Boots.Jobs careers website to attract potential candidates and will remove roles from the platform once we have filled our interview slots.
* Screening: You will support managers in your allocated region to recruit the best people into Boots by screening candidates against role-specific criteria.
* Administrative Support: You will manage the administrative tasks associated with the recruitment process such as setting up interviews using our bespoke recruitment systems.
* Onboarding Support: You will work to ensure a smooth onboarding process by ensuring successful candidates have access to their offer details. You will troubleshoot problems which prevent them from being paid accurately and on-time.
* Candidate Experience: As our candidates' first port of call you'll represent Boots as a brand, you will provide a first-class service, resolving queries and providing information, whilst knowing it's the personable interactions that make a real impact.
* Hiring Manager Support: You will create a seamless recruitment experience for our managers in store, providing clarity around their vacancies and outstanding actions and ensuring every candidate receives an outcome for their interview.
What you'll need to have
* Experience in a role where you've supported customers or colleagues - whether in person, over the phone, or in an administrative capacity, demonstrating your ability to provide excellent service to anyone who needs your help.
* Confident communicating in writing and over the phone
* Comfortable navigating and embracing new technology - we use a lot of different software, so technical proficiency is a must.
* Enjoy following process with a strong eye for detail.
* Comfortable with change - Boots is always changing for the better, so it is essential that you are adaptable to change and able to work with ambiguity.
* Confident self-managing your workload and able to prioritise effectively to ensure our candidates and hiring managers hear back in a timely manner.
* Able to work accurately and at pace to tight deadlines during our busy periods.
* Able to work on your own as well as in a large team, being flexible to support your colleagues when required.
