The Role – Night Shift Catering Assistant Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our onsite catering team at our client’s prestigious site in Deeside CH5 2TW. This is a Permanent role 20hrs per week, the suitable person would work Night Shift -Monday to Thursday 10pm until 2am / Friday 8pm - 12midnight. Duties/Key Responsibilities To provide a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all customers ensuring the day-to-day operations are run efficiently and functionally at all times. To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically. To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required. Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques. To serve coffee to a barista standard. Have a thorough understanding of food and beverage concepts advising customers along with identifying opportunities for upselling. Under guidance ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas has products correctly priced, labelled, and in date. To support replenishing vending machines. To operate tills during service. To assist with deliveries and stock-taking. To set up service counters for service and keep the service areas clean, tidy, and presentable in line with the Company standards. Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules. Assist in the cleaning and clearing of tables and polishing of cutlery where applicable. Report any equipment issues that cannot be resolved to the Line Manager. Skills Required Own transport is required due to the nature of the shift pattern. Catering experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given. You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team. Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage. Allergen awareness Vending & barista experience an advantage. Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills. Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment. Uniform and meals on duty provided.
