The Opportunity
Our Asset Advisory Team is growing rapidly and has a track record of successful project delivery across the Water, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to drive performance and realise financial and social value through their assets management capability.
As a member of our Asset Operations and Maintenance Team, you will typically be involved in developing system‑based asset management principles to enable our Delivery Programmes to provide the most efficient service‑based outcomes for our clients. You will support clients and colleagues with the development and delivery of programmes, projects, technical outputs, and measurable benefits. The role will involve regular travel to client sites and offices throughout the UK.
An important part of your role will be to identify wider improvement opportunities for clients to reduce risk and/or improve their effectiveness and efficiency. You will build internal and external relationships to influence client strategic thinking and raise the profile of our Asset Advisory group, with the overall aim of building and growing the Stantec business.
Senior Consultants will be expected to work alongside industry leaders and mentor and guide more junior colleagues.
About You
* Prior experience or work within operations and maintenance activities, with demonstrated involvement in improvement or change projects.
* Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
* Strong knowledge of asset management policy/strategy, risk assessment, life‑cycle decision‑making and the development of asset management plans.
* Experience in a regulated sector or related sector (water, energy, buildings/real‑estate, infrastructure, or facilities management) is desirable.
* Inquisitive and willing to challenge norms.
