Evolve IT is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading beverages company based in Edinburgh, to recruit a new IT Support Assistant. The role has become vacant, as an existing member of the team has just been promoted!
This is a brilliant opportunity for an entry level applicant to join a close-knit IT support team, that provides essential support and maintenance for a range of IT systems, across multiple sites, ensuring a seamless operational environment can meet the demands of this growing business.
The ideal candidate will have entry level experience as an IT Support Analyst, who delivers 1st and 2nd line technical support to customers, while working collaboratively within the team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and prioritize allocated workload to provide timely support to front line IT queries.
* Liaise effectively with 3rd party IT suppliers and internal support teams when needed.
* Conduct root cause analysis of IT equipment issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Ensure all IT equipment is properly set up and installed.
* Maintain thorough documentation of incidents and solutions for future reference.
* Exhibit a positive attitude while providing exceptional customer service to various business areas.
* Adhere to security and privacy standards, escalating business risks as necessary.
Successful Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
* Technical knowledge of Windows 11, Server 2016, 2019 & 2022 environments.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Exchange online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
* Experience with Azure AD management and network printer systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills paired with effective communication and customer service abilities.
* A full UK driver's license is essential.
* Desirable: Experience within a manufacturing environment and knowledge of ERP systems like Tropos.
