Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation on the Wirral who are recruiting for a Payroll, Compensations & Benefits Advisor to join their team. They offer an excellent working environment, work-from-home options, and fantastic benefits.
Key Duties/Tasks:
* Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
* Utilize technical skills including Resourcelink System & Excel
* Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
* Manual processing requiring strong Excel skills
* Processing compensations and benefits (approx. 25% of role)
* Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
* Ensure timely payments, including benefits
* Experience with Zellis/Resourcelink system is preferred
Desirable skills and attributes:
* Minimum 2-3 years industry experience
* Experience in benefits or compensations essential
* Previous payroll experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
* Attention to detail
* Teamwork orientation
* Strong basic math skills
* Excellent communication skills to handle queries
* Proficiency in Excel
* CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential
