Overview
Diagnostic Imaging Assistant – Runnymede Hospital (Chertsey). Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent. Salary: £24,947.00 per year (depending on experience, training and qualification).
Duties
* Act as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient‑centred care.
* Work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver care, maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
* Demonstrate professional conduct in accordance with HCA/Imaging Assistant standard framework, NMC Codes of professional Conduct and HCPC.
* Show competence within the scope of the Imaging Assistant role.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe and high‑quality care provision for patients.
* Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
* Experience providing customer care, including handling challenging situations.
* Care Certificate.
* NVQ Level 1 and willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Willingness to progress to NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Maths, English GCSE grades A–C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
