The Opportunity - We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Area Cleaning Contract Manager to oversee and manage contractual agreements across various projects. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of cleaning contracts, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to the organisation’s strategic objectives while ensuring contractual integrity and risk mitigation. The Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth through effective contract administration and stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple cleaning contracts.
* Manage and support cleaning supervisors and operatives.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Liaise with clients to maintain strong working relationships.
* Plan and manage staff rotas, recruitment, and training.
* Monitor budgets, stock levels, and performance targets.
About You
* Proven experience in contract management
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of liaising confidently with clients
* Ability to analyse complex contractual issues swiftly and provide clear recommendations.
* A proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Proven experience in the contract cleaning industry is essential.
* Experience managing school cleaning contracts is an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and travel between sites (company car provided).
* Full UK driving licence required.
