We're looking for someone who can:
Responsibilities
* Provide a phlebotomy service.
* Perform ECGs.
* Work with the anticoagulation team to offer PoCT.
* Take blood pressure measurements.
* Perform urine dip tests.
* Perform wound dressings including suture/staple removals.
* Following a plan of care undertake complex wound care e.g. leg ulcer care and perform Doppler tests.
* Assist doctors with minor operations and IUD clinics.
* Provide general support to the practice nurse team.
* Maintain a team approach to working by attending appropriate meetings.
* Maintain and update skills by attending appropriate training events.
* Enter all patient activity onto the patients' electronic records.
* Perform diabetic and other health checks.
Location & Working Hours
Working hours - There is a full time and part time position available. Location - We have 8 Surgery sites across York.
