There is an exciting opportunity to join EHASH for 3 months as one of our Referral Information Co-Ordinators (RIC). You will be joining a well established and experienced team of RICs in our Early Help and Safeguarding Hub on Floor 3 of Number One Riverside.
About EHASH
The Early Help and Safeguarding Hub (EHASH) is the front door team of Rochdale’s Early Help Support and Children’s Social Care. All referrals that require a more complex early help support or have a safeguarding concern will enter through the front door of EHASH. The team reviews and processes early help and safeguarding enquiries and referrals and works to identify the most appropriate level of support required. RICs are a vital part of the team in ensuring that EHASH functions at its best at all times.
Role and responsibilities
The role of the RIC includes creating contacts from the new children’s portal and ensuring all information is recorded on contacts as directed by the Team Manager, and gathering information ensuring history, relationships, etc are accurate to allow clear and accurate decision making and triage to take place on all contacts.
Additionally, you will be involved in gathering information for different meetings such as High Risk Domestic Abuse meetings, children missing from home, and CAFCASS checks.
Contract and safeguarding
This is a temporary contract for approximately 3 months to cover pending a service review.
