IMH Recruitment are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity on behalf of a well-established client based in Barnsley.
This position is ideal for an experienced Welder with at least 5 years’ experience working with heavy steel. The company works with materials ranging from 6mm up to 50mm in thickness.
The Role
* MIG and Stick welding
* Welding various types of heavy steel components
* Driving the forklift truck
* Operating overhead cranes
* Carrying out general workshop duties as required
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ fabrication experience
* Proven background working with heavy steel
* FLT Licence – 8 tonne
* Able to work independently and use your own initiative
Hours & Pay
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
* Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm
* Pay dependent on experience (between £14-£15 per hour)
* Plenty of overtime available
