We are currently looking for a maternity cover on a 1 year fixed contract.
What you can expect:
You will be part of the Social Media & PR team across North Europe and collaborate closely with colleagues working on regional marketing strategy, content development and campaign execution. Your focus markets will be Great Britain & Ireland, complemented by Nordics.
The role covers both B2C and B2B — with a significant portion dedicated to B2B audiences, including installers and architects.
More specifically you will cover:
1. B2B Social Media Management: Drive the UK B2B social media presence by shaping content direction, ensuring messaging consistency and aligning activities with business priorities. Collaborate with our agency partner for execution while owning quality, direction and channel performance. Act as a key link between internal teams and the agency.
2. Influencer Management: Oversee influencer activities in the UK and Nordic markets, including selection, briefing, approvals and ensuring deliverables fit campaign goals, brand positioning and market priorities.
3. Content Creation & Coordination: Plan and coordinate content across Meta, Pinterest and YouTube. Manage content requirements, feedback and approvals to ensure strong creative output and consistent storytelling.
4. Pinterest Strategy & Coordination: Develop and steer the Pinterest content strategy in collaboration with a freelancer, ensuring direction, priorities and creative output align with brand and market goals. Coordinate information flows and enable reporting/optimisation processes.
5. Agency & Project Management: Manage and guide external partners involved in social, influencer and content initiatives. Secure timeline adherence, smooth workflows and high-quality outcomes.
6. KPI‑Driven Optimisation: Ensure social channels across markets are optimised based on insights and agreed KPIs. Facilitate reporting processes and ensure all activities are purpose‑driven and aligned with strategic objectives.
7. Strategy Development & Campaign Coordination: Develop and adapt social media strategies for key audiences. Support the rollout and localisation of regional and local campaigns for the UK market. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (PR, B2B Marketing, Sales, etc.) to ensure social media activity is integrated and aligned across touchpoints.
What you bring to the table:
A background in marketing, communications or business or experience working at VELUX with first‑hand exposure to professional social media and marketing tasks.
You have solid understanding of social media platforms and content formats and the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
