Job Description
Key Responsibilities
3. Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with business objectives
4. Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and act as primary regulatory contact
5. Lead Carbon reduction and Net Zero commitment initiatives
6. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement mitigation measures
7. Design and deliver HSE training programs and foster safety culture across all levels
8. Drive environmental sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and energy efficiency
9. Provide leadership and development to direct reports
10. Prepare comprehensive EHS performance reports and communicate with stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate ProfileEssential:
11. NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
12. NEBOSH Environmental Management
13. CMIOSH membership or working towards (minimum Grad IOSH)
14. Proven senior EHS leadership experience in UK manufacturing
15. In-depth knowledge of UK EHS regulations and ISO standards (14001, 45001)
Desirable:
16. Advanced degree in Environmental Science or related field
17. NEBOSH Fire/L3 Fire Risk Assessor certification
