Quantity Surveyor – Nottinghamshire (Hybrid Working Available) Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Our client – a collaborative joint venture supporting local authority projects – is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic Commercial team in Nottinghamshire. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide high-quality cost management and estimating services across a range of exciting and varied construction projects. You will play a key role in delivering value for money, cost-effective solutions, and maintaining financial control throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop estimates and cost plans at the feasibility stage. Deliver comprehensive cost management services. Compile and manage contract documentation in collaboration with contractors and supply chain partners. Prepare monthly cost and value reports for project fee income. Oversee financial control of contractor and subcontractor accounts, including managing Compensation Events. Procure external design and survey consultants and draft associated appointments. Advise on commercial and contractual matters across business streams. Provide commercial management insights aligned with reporting requirements. Ensure all contract documentation adheres to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards. About You Our client is looking for a motivated individual who brings a passion for innovation and efficiency in construction. You will ideally have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience in a similar role. Proven experience in the construction and commercial sectors. Strong commercial acumen and contractor management skills. Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities. Self-motivation with a results-driven mindset.
