The Role Morson are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to provide technical expertise across manufacturing programmes, supporting the delivery of robust, capable, and zero-defect tooling solutions. This role plays a key part in enabling high-quality production through strong engineering leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for tooling development from concept through to production
Ensure robust, capable manufacturing processes with a strong focus on zero defect delivery
Support production and resolve tooling, quality, and supplier issues efficiently
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across tooling and manufacturing processes
Provide technical oversight for tooling cost, schedule, and configuration changes
Promote best practice, standardisation, and development of new tooling methods
Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet programme demands
Champion safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times
Skills & Experience Degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing / Tooling Engineering within aerospace or similar regulated industry
Strong knowledge of quality systems such as AS9100 / ISO9001
Proven ability to lead technically, influence stakeholders, and work with minimal supervision
