Operations Manager
Location: Home based/London Based - Travel Required
Salary: £52k per annum, plus £3k car allowance - Will be expected to work away from home when required
Gilbert Meher have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager, (or a talented Care Manager looking to take the next step) to support an established healthcare provider who were rated in the Top 50 inspiring workplaces in the UK, and are among the top healthcare providers in the country.
Reporting into the Regional Director you will lead the performance of a number of locations within your geographical region, providing direct line management, support and guidance to a team of managers and allocated support functions in achieving quality, customer, financial and growth targets. You will directly line manage a number of Registered Managers as allocated by the Regional Director, providing feedback and performance information to the Regional Director as an when required.
As Operations Manager, you will be expetected to perform a number of pivotal tasks covering Quality and Governance, Financial, Partnership Working, and taking part in implementing regional and divisional strategies to enhance care and standards in your area. Providing Operational support to the Regional Director to achieve GOOD or OUTSTANDING ratings using internal audits.
Drive quality improvements in your area.
Ensure legal frameworks are adhered to, such as DoLS, Mental Capacity Act, and Court Orders.
KPI – to achieve 90% good and above rating internally and externally for quality metrics for the locations allocated to you by your regional director.
Local Authorities, NHS, CQC always acting as an ambassador for the company and external stakeholders.
Assist the RD to identify opportunities for business development, including redevelopments, new services, and partnership working with commissioners.
Feeding back to the Regional Director as agreed. The Regional Director will oversee but you will be responsible for ensuring that robust supervision and development through personal development plans are in place for the managers you directly line manage and that all staff within your allocated portfolio are supervised in line with KPIs.
You will adopt a coach and mentor style with your portfolio of Managers and teams to ensure they are supported in their professional and personal development and actively manage a talent pipeline to maintain management and leadership strength across the region
