Office based role. Commutable from Telford, Shifnal, Newport, Stafford, Cannock, Wolverhampton, and Bridgnorth.
Are you an Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader from an FMCG background with experience working in an office-based leadership role, looking to step into a senior position where you will take full responsibility for managing a large team, driving performance, and shaping the engineering function?
On offer is a highly autonomous, office-based leadership role where you will oversee a team of up to 21 engineers, with full responsibility for planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering activities across the site.
This well-established and growing business is known for investing in their people and processes. Due to continued expansion and increased demand, they are looking to bring in a strong Engineering Lead to support and develop their engineering team.
This role would suit someone with proven experience in an office-based engineering leadership role within FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment, looking for a long-term position with stability, responsibility, and progression.
The Role
* Managing and leading a team of up to 21 engineers
* Planning and scheduling maintenance and engineering activities
* Resource planning and coordination across the site
* Supporting training and development of the engineering team
* Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement
* 4 on 4 off, days-based (12-hour shifts)
The Person
* Previous experience in an Engineering Lead, Supervisor, or Team Leader role
* Background within FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing
* Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
* Experience managing large teams and driving performance
