Permanent Veterinary Practice Manager – Islington, London

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Practice Manager to join a practice in Islington, working across 3 branches in the area. This role is full time with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for the commercial management of the practice
* You will oversee the day-to-day development of the clinical team
* You will deliver exceptional client care, monitor client feedback and follow up on actions to improve the practice
* You will work closely with the lead vet and wider organisation management to maximise performance with a focus on skills utilisation and managing costs
* You will observe the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
* You will manage the practice rotas
* You will aid in recruitment for the practice

About you
* You will ideally have some previous managerial experience in a clinical setting
* You will have good organisational skills
* You must have a friendly and compassionate attitude and be approachable at all times
* You will be ambitious to continue with further education and training
* You will be forward thinking and always looking at ways to develop the clinical team further
* You will enjoy leading a team and providing ongoing support to fellow team members
* You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
* You will enjoy mentoring others and leading by example
* You will enjoy working as part of a team
* You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare and practice management
* You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
* You will be caring, adaptable, hardworking, and reliable
* You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills

Package:
* Salary: Starting from £32,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
* Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Must haves:
* RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
