The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the whole-school SEN strategy while continuing to deliver high-quality, tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding, individualised teaching to learners with complex and varied SEN profiles
* Take a proactive role in leading whole-school SEN initiatives and staff development
* Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to support school improvement planning
* Contribute to line management, mentoring, and curriculum development as part of wider leadership responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support and progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A proven track record of excellence in SEN teaching
* Experience in or a strong desire for leadership within a specialist education setting
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* A vision for inclusive education and a commitment to raising outcomes for all learners
