Wassen, a dynamic UK-based company owned by South Africa’s Nurture Brands, is seeking an ambitious Export Account Manager to manage their own portfolio of international distributor accounts. About the Role
Reporting to the Head of International Business Development, you will manage relationships with existing international distributors, agreeing forecasts and investments to achieve ambitious sales targets. You’ll have the autonomy to oversee your accounts end-to-end—from commercial support and supply chain coordination to quality and regulatory compliance—while ensuring alignment with Wassen’s International Expansion and Growth strategy.
You will attend team meetings, present your accounts in board-level sessions, and travel on business as required, including potential overseas trips. The role is office-based in Hessle, with flexibility for home working 1–2 days per week, typically Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
* Own day-to-day account management, ensuring smooth operations from pricing in market execution.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with international customers and distributors.
* Achieve and exceed sales objectives, aligning forecasts with annual business budgets.
* Identify opportunities for portfolio growth, new product launches, and promotional strategies.
* Lead joint business plans and share best practices across your accounts.
* Conduct bi-annual top-to-top business reviews and implement corrective strategies to optimise account performance.
