Location: Preston
Shift Pattern: Panama (Days & Nights)
Salary: £52,000 – £53,000
Benefits: 6% Company pension contribution and Private Health Care (Can be upgraded to family at an extra cost)
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly stable manufacturing business based in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a modern site equipped with state‑of‑the‑art machinery and cutting‑edge systems.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. You will be working on a newly implemented CMMS system, designed to streamline maintenance processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Servicing and maintaining a wide range of modern production equipment
* Using the new CMMS system to log work, manage tasks, and check stores
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company standards

The Candidate
