About the Role
As Head of Business Development, you'll report directly to our OnSite Business Development Director and lead strategic initiatives that strengthen client relationships and secure new opportunities. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll craft compelling bid submissions, collaborate across departments, and influence the future of our business units.

Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Define and implement business development strategies aligned with company priorities.
* Team Management: Lead and mentor account management activities, fostering collaboration and growth.
* Relationship Building: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients.
* Revenue Growth: Drive new bids and expansion strategies to achieve ambitious targets.
* Bid Leadership: Oversee qualitative bid submissions, ensuring excellence and alignment with delivery plans.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with estimating, design, operations, and commercial teams to deliver winning proposals.
What You'll Need
* Minimum 3 years' experience in M&E or Civils construction bidding with a qualitative focus.
* Proven track record in business development and bid writing within the construction industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Commercial acumen and experience working with estimating, design, and commercial teams.
* Highly motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
