If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, fast-evolving global business based in Hemel Hempstead.
The Role
As the Financial Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, support compliance requirements, and help deliver continuous improvements in finance operations.
This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes ownership of their work, and is looking for a position with real visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading month-end and year-end close for various entities within the EMEA region
* Managing financial reporting for the group holding company
* Delivering technical accounting in areas such as sales allowances, stock provisions, and IFRS 16 leases
* Preparing annual statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
* Supporting internal audits and driving process improvements
* Assisting with tax compliance: VAT, corporation tax, transfer pricing, PAYE settlements, and Country-by-Country reporting
* Ensuring wider compliance for banking, Companies House, ONS reporting, etc.
About You
We’re looking for a confident, qualified accountant with a commercial mindset and strong technical grounding.
* ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant post-qualification experience
* Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
* Advanced Excel and excellent analytical skills
* Clear, confident communicator – able to explain financial concepts across functions
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload
* Experience within a multinational or FMCG environment
* Exposure to EMEA financial operations
* Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite
* Background in audit or practice
