Join Gallagher as a Senior Statutory Accountant and play a key role in our Legal Entity Control team for the GGB Reinsurance Division. You’ll help deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, support audits, and ensure compliance with local and international requirements. This is your chance to work in a collaborative, global environment where your expertise will make a real difference How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll prepare statutory accounts, board reports, and regulatory filings for overseas Gallagher entities. You’ll work closely with local finance teams, third-party providers, and auditors to ensure compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS standards. You’ll also investigate accounting differences, maintain statutory adjustment ledgers, and support acquisitions, disposals, and other ad-hoc projects. By building strong relationships across teams, you’ll help ensure smooth processes and high-quality reporting. About You Here’s what makes you a great fit: You’re a qualified accountant with experience in UK GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS. You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable working to strict deadlines. You’ve got strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with global teams. You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. You’ve got a problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail. Experience in statutory reporting, audit support, or regulatory compliance is a plus.
