Food Technician – Bramhall – Immediate Start

A well-regarded secondary school in Bramhall is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Technician to join their Design & Technology department for an immediate start. This is a full-time, term-time only role, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a creative, student-focused environment.
As a Food Technician, you will support teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of practical food lessons. This includes preparing ingredients, maintaining equipment and hygiene standards, and helping to set up and clear away practical sessions. You may also work directly with students during lessons to ensure they are following health and safety guidelines and using kitchen tools correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organise ingredients and equipment for practical lessons
Ensure kitchen areas meet health and safety and hygiene standards
Support students and staff during practical food technology lessons
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required
Assist with general classroom and equipment maintenance
Location: Bramhall
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Previous experience in a school or food preparation environment is desirable, but not essential. A proactive, safety-conscious attitude and good organisational skills are key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
