Join to apply for the Payroll Technical Analyst role at GXO Logistics, Inc. We’re looking for a Payroll Technical Analyst (Systems) who’s passionate about driving change, streamlining processes, and making a real impact. You’ll be the engine behind our payroll automation journey—partnering with stakeholders, diving deep into systems, and delivering smarter, faster solutions. You’ll be based out of our head office in Northampton, with level of home/flexible working provided you’re able to attend the office as required.
Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. The package includes 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and the option to purchase additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day
* Manage all BAU payroll reporting and analytic activities
* Develop the Payroll change program, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best-in-practice processes, tracking, reporting, and escalations are in place for all changes
* Ensure payroll changes are delivered accurately, on time and within budget
* Support the continuous development of the payroll platform and resolutions
* Support the change pipeline with third-party providers and internal stakeholders, including writing test scripts, UAT and expected outcomes
* Be a subject matter expert for the payroll platform, including alignment to statutory compliance
What you need to succeed at GXO
* A solid payroll background with a track record of working with large data sets and reporting; proficiency with data analytics tools (Power BI, Google Analytics, Tableau), SQL, and advanced MS Access. Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus
* Familiarity with ServiceNow
* Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision
* Hands-on experience with ADP Global View, SAP or similar payroll products
* Excellent business analysis skills including communication, influencing, listening and organizational abilities
