If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Depot Manager.Reporting to theDirector of Secondary Logisticsthis role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following: Role Responsibilities: Leading the day-to-day operations of a complex warehouse and logistics process to meet the service levels required within budget costs. Responsible for the Health & Safety of the depot operations & people including visitors and contracts. Continuing with the forward movement of the depot including improvement through standardising ways of working in line with the company expectations of Customer Service Levels. Maintain healthy Union relations. Develop capability of teams and individuals including Succession Planning and Performance Management. Responsibility for complex warehouse and logistics process covering incoming goods planning and receipt, warehousing, pick, pack, and distribution. Manage the site within Logistics KPIs established by our customers Role model level leadership capability, developing manager capability through the team. Constantly search out new opportunities, technology, and solutions to our network challenges to ensure continuous improvement of our services. Experience and Key Attributes: Experience of working within a network where depots are interdependent on other depots for the movement of stock to meet Customer Orders and maintain stock levels. Transport Manager National CPC, a Degree in Supply Chain or an IOSH certification Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, implementing SOPs across a networks and maintaining a high quality of work across a complex network. Proven experience in managing change, and implement improvement programs (Operational Excellence, Lean, TPM, SixSigma) to achieve budgeted targets. Proven track record as a people manager, leading and developing your team to success Experience in Warehouse and Distribution Experience managing change involving people, processes, and procedures. Thrives on ownership, action orientated, and results driven.
