We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator and Receptionist to join a busy family-run garage in Wavertree, Liverpool. The ideal candidate should be friendly, approachable, and helpful. Good communication skills are important for working with suppliers, customers, and staff. This is a part-time position with job sharing, requiring you to work two and a half days each week plus every other Saturday. Require GCSE English and Mathematics Grades (C/4 or above). You should have experience using Windows, Microsoft Word, and Outlook, along with general office computer tools. Training will be provided for programs like MOT Manager and QuickBooks. Your responsibilities will include using a Yealink phone system, booking appointments for MOTs, servicing, and repairs. You will also prepare repair estimates and create invoices using QuickBooks. Other tasks include typing letters and reports, photocopying, scanning, and keeping both digital and paper files organized. You’ll welcome visitors, manage the reception area, and keep the office clean. You will be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers. We are looking for someone with great organizational skills who can manage their time well and handle multiple tasks in a busy setting. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for working professionally with staff and customers. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to learn quickly are also very important.
