What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Coordinate exciting trading events by working closely with the store leadership team, ensuring success during occasions like Christmas or Easter.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role model high standards, and coach for efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety regulations while fostering a passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating enjoyable shopping experiences.
* Responsible for a large team of colleagues, ensuring they perform their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and that all people-related matters are handled properly, including celebrating successes and managing difficult situations.
