A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Care Paralegal to join its established Children Law team based in Hounslow. The successful candidate will provide legal and administrative support to solicitors handling Children Act matters, predominantly care proceedings, while assisting vulnerable clients through sensitive and complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting solicitors on care proceedings and Children Act matters
* Managing client enquiries and maintaining regular client communication
* Taking instructions from clients and preparing legal documentation
* Drafting statements, applications, and correspondence
* Liaising with courts, counsel, experts, local authorities, and third parties
* Assisting with case preparation, file management, and compliance
* Attending meetings with clients and professionals where required
* Supporting advocacy preparation where appropriate
Requirements
1. Previous experience within Care or Family Law preferred
2. Understanding of Children Law and legal aid processes
