We are searching for a Financial and Strategic Advisory Manager.

Overall Job Purpose
You will be a key member of the growing financial accounting advisory specialists national team. You will be responsible for working on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory assignments. As a manager, you would be expected to complete technically challenging projects. This includes the practical application of accounting standards under FRS 102, IFRS, and FRS 101, group reconstructions and accounting considerations, conversion to different GAAPs, technical accounting papers, and acquisition accounting support.
The role also involves managing the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 101.
The department's fast growth will create opportunities to develop further skill sets, including business development and coaching junior staff. It also offers the chance to work with colleagues and businesses across the UK and support your local office.
A strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS accounting principles is essential.
Responsibilities
1. Supervision and coaching of junior team members in the preparation of financial statements compliant with FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
2. Leading complex accountancy projects for clients, such as IFRS transition consultancy or support on acquisition accounting and complex consolidations.
3. Acting as a primary contact with clients, communicating issues promptly, and suggesting solutions.
4. Managing a portfolio of clients and projects, including client care, project management, and WIP/billing.
5. Practicing excellent client service principles, involving significant client contact.
6. Liaising with other departments, especially audit and tax teams, to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
7. Coaching junior team members and participating in staff training and supervision, with potential line management responsibilities depending on experience.
8. Willingness to travel to client premises; however, most work is office-based within our growing team.
Personal and Professional Qualities
The role requires:
1. ACA Qualified or equivalent.
2. Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting.
3. Experience in professional practice or providing written accounting advice to clients.
4. Strong project management and organizational skills.
5. Experience working with clients and supervising junior staff.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
