The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Worker based in Hersham. This is a full time temporary position, working 37.5 hours per week, with pay up to £13.68 per hour including holiday pay. The start date is ASAP.
This Nursery Worker role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work. You will support the daily running of a busy plant nursery, helping with preparing, and dispatching plants to a high standard.
You will work across different areas of the nursery, contributing to order preparation, and general site organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Move and prepare plants from greenhouses for cleaning, labelling, and organisation
Pick, clean, and pack customer orders accurately for dispatch
Assist with planting containers and preparing displays
Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas
Support general nursery tasks as required Daily Duties
Prepare plant orders with strong attention to detail
Pick and pack plants ready for deliveryRequirements
Ability to carry out physical work including lifting, bending, and standing
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Willingness to use mobile devices for task tracking
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Own transport preferred due to location Skills and Qualities
