St Marys Christian Brothers Schoolis seeking an outstanding professional to join its Senior Leadership Team as Head of Finance and Corporate Services. This pivotal role will lead and shape the schools core support services including finance, HR, facilities, and risk management ensuring they not only run efficiently but actively contribute to the schools long-term growth and success. Working closely with the Principal, the postholder will play a central role in delivering the School Development Plan and driving forward the schools strategic ambitions. A key aspect of the role will be providing strategic financial leadership for St Marys ambitious enhancement programme, including the development of a cutting-edge sports centre that will benefit both students and the wider community. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of school budgets, accounts, and financial forecasts Oversee the formulation of financial targets and budgets Support the Principal in the delivery of the School Development Plan In partnership with the Principal,oversee HR management for non-teaching staff Support governance, risk management, legal compliance, and HR policies for non-teaching staff Help manage school estate, including buildings, grounds, maintenance contracts, and capital projects The Person: Proven experience in financial management including budget preparation & management, financial monitoring and reporting Proven experience of undertaking a multi-faceted role Strong leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (internal & external) A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent is desirable but NOT essential The Rewards: Salary of up to £75K (NJC points 60-64) NILGOSC pension (c.19%) Generous annual leave entitlement Car parking Rewarding and varied role Click on the link below to apply for this Head of Finance job or to request a full candidate pack, please contact Laura Haggan in the strictest confidence.
