We are expanding our capability and on the lookout for a CCTV Field Engineer to join our growing team. This full‑time, permanent position includes out of hours support and occasional travel across England and Wales.
The successful candidate will hold a Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points. The role is a critical part of the operations team, ensuring hardware for our traffic enforcement and management products is delivered and maintained safely.
What you will be doing
* Work with the Head of Service Management, PMO Manager and Technical Manager as well as the wider service delivery and service management team to address recurring technical issues and implement training or documentation requirements.
* System commissioning – install systems at client sites, ensuring they are delivered as specified.
* On‑site installation and assembly of systems, overseeing engineering partners and subcontractors where necessary.
* Software configuration – adjust system settings ‘at the pole’ to maximize delivery efficiency and optimise solution effectiveness on site.
* System support – assist the helpdesk team, carry out system checks, and react to alerts or client issues to troubleshoot and maintain maximum uptime.
* Attend sites for hardware replacements where required.
What we are looking for
* Self‑motivated and experienced Field Technician, ideally with a background in enforcement, CCTV, or ANPR systems.
* Good working knowledge of hardware components (PCs, cameras, wireless, etc.) and networking devices.
* Full UK Driving License.
