We’re supporting a growing accountancy firm as they expand their office North East of Leeds. They are looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager to join their team and take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
What you’ll do:
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate accounting services
* Prepare financial statements in line with accounting standards
* Produce management accounts and offer financial insights
* Support clients with bookkeeping systems including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
* Identify areas to improve financial processes and make practical recommendations
* Mentor junior team members, offering day-to-day guidance and development
What they’re looking for:
* ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE
* Previous experience in accountancy practice, including supervising juniors
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based systems
* Confident in building client relationships and delivering quality service
