Are you a passionate Design and Technology Teacher looking for a rewarding supply teaching opportunity in Halton? Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Secondary Design and Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Widnes, Halton from after the Easter break until July 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified DT Teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or experienced secondary teacher to teach Design & Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a supportive and well-established department.

Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
Pay: Up to £232.56 per day, depending on experience
Contract Type: Full-time supply teaching roleYou will be responsible for delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons, encouraging creativity and technical skills while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
The ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based DT lessons
A passion for developing students' creative, engineering and design skillsThis role would suit both experienced Design and Technology teachers and ECTs seeking valuable classroom experience in a supportive secondary school environment.
