Join Our Team as a Physiotherapy Assistant - 30 Hours per Week
Location: Chippenham Community Hospital Outpatient Physiotherapy Department

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly Outpatient Physiotherapy team at Chippenham Community Hospital.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting individuals through their rehabilitation journey, working within clearly defined protocols and guidelines.
Delivering treatments and exercises based on the Physiotherapists' plan and patient goals.
Assisting patients both one-on-one and in group settings.
Main duties of the job Work within the Physiotherapy and Multidisciplinary Team.
Deliver treatments following the Physiotherapist's specified plan and patient's rehabilitation goals.
Operate within a competency framework, including some electrotherapy modalities as instructed by the physiotherapist.
Ensure patient-centered care with active participation from patients and carers in decision-making.
Support daily rehabilitation of delegated patients.
Deliver group treatments as per class schedule under supervision.
Practice in accordance with Trust policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Minimum qualifications and skills:
NVQ Level 3 in healthcare or equivalent
Good general education
Experience in healthcare settings and supporting others
Confidentiality awareness
Teamwork and patient-focused care skills
Ability to recognize own limitations
Typing and data input skills
Moving and handling skills
Specific nursing/therapy skills
Valid driving license and car
Self-motivated with good time management
Open, honest, and innovative attitude
