Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bid Writer: Trusts and Foundations, located in Washington. The Bid Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals for trusts and foundations, and managing the end-to-end funding application process. Additional duties include collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop fundraising strategies, preparing monitoring reports to funders, maintaining a database of funding opportunities, and ensuring all communications align with organizational values and goals.
Salary band: £28,000 - £29,000 per annum (FTE) Hours of work: 40 hours per week (based on a 40-hour working week) Contract: Permanent Location: Washington Business Centre, SR5 3NZ
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Bid Writing, Proposal Development, and Research for funding opportunities
* Proficiency in Fundraising Strategy, Income Generation, and knowledge of Trusts and Funding Bodies
* Excellent written communication, Proofreading, and Editing abilities
* Highly organized with attention to detail and experience managing multiple funding applications simultaneously
* Proficiency with CRM or grant management systems is beneficial
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
* Experience in the charitable or third sector is highly desirable
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
